FIVE SHADES OF DEAUVILLE’S SHORE
Since I moved to Paris, I’ve had to find new go-to weekend destinations which is not very hard. One of my favorites is Deauville. It’s a 2-hour train ride or a 2-hour drive, but either way, once you arrive, first stop: the beach. If you’ve never been, it’s a beach with no beginning and no end, or so it seems. So taking photos of the beach and the ocean is always a magical experience. The light changes in the course of seconds and suddenly, everything before your eyes shifts. Hence, Five Shades of Deauville’s Shore.
Here is a list of some of my favorite spots:
Outdoor Farmers Market | place de Morny | Open Saturday from 9a-1p
Les Vapeurs | Trouville | Great restaurant for lunch or dinner
Casa Rina | For burrata lovers, this is your spot. Usually arrives fresh Tuesday so best to get it early before they sell out 😉
Boulangerie Aux Délices de l’Etoile | rue Desire le Hoc
Boulangerie Retrodor | rue de l’Avenir
Boulangerie de Paris | place de Morny | if your timing is right, they often have pastries just out o the oven
Martine Lambert | Amazing Ice Cream & Sorbet
